MY STORY
Growing up in southern California, and then southern Georgia, I was a imaginative child whose creative outlets were art, school projects, and taking photographs. In kindergarten, I created an elaborate miniature house out of popsicle sticks for a class project that my teacher would keep for years to come as an example for future students. In elementary school my artwork was chosen to be the featured cover of our 2001 yearbook. For my high school's Senior Superlatives I was voted "Most Creative" by my peers.
Though I was naturally drawn to creative projects, I had no set medium or outlet other than what came my way. When I started college I knew I wanted to pursue a career that allowed me to be creative. Marketing has given me the ability to focus my creative energy and work towards measurable goals. Along with my major, pursuing a minor in Art and a minor in Advertising and Promotions also opened the door for me to use photography and technology as a medium to aid in my marketing career.
